I fell into this raging river,
Each day the water's cold. I shiver,
As rushing waters pass me by,
I see for seconds the clearing sky,
An opening to storm and sun,
The latter which is soon begun,
My heart's content with sun it's true,
But soon I lose all faith in few,
And on I rush past water still,
On and on till I feel ill,
Friends and foes alike are near me,
I scream aloud, but none can hear me,
Drowning in their sudden greed,
I gasp for air, I'm choked by need,
I cough, I gasp, and then I cry,
I feel like I will surely die,
Till hands reach up to grasp me tight,
I give up this unwilling fight,
To pass with rushing water through,
To find the love I hold with you.
So what do you think? You like it? You hate it? Tell me your thoughts.
I think it's not my typical love poem, but it has it's subtle way of being sappy!

I like it, and it is sappy -- nothing wrong with that. Hey, your blog is still here. I thought you said it vanished.
Slowly reviving it lol It seems to have been forgotten for a while there, but it is somewhat back
